Changes to my Study Program

This is a topic that I always think about, although I had talk about it with my parents recently. To be honest I got in this university with maybe a dreamy or idealistic perspective of how it really works.

The first thing that disappointed me was the curriculum, because there are some subjects that I think are useless for the objetive that we are studying this career. I agree with the intension of giving a more complete quantity of knowledge to the students, but I think it could be a better way to give it in electives. I consider that is not necessary to give those subjects in a obligatory form, because maybe for someone those subjects are really useful but for others only are a waste of time. So without those subject it could be less workload to the students, that is an important thing that brings less stress and better results in the relevant subjects.

The faculty facilities doesn’t really disappointed me, I don’t think is really surprising or anything else, but I found it nice and cosy. Maybe I would prefer a bigger cafeteria because it’s always full but it’s not such a big deal so I don’t really mind.

The second and more important thing that disappointed me that is always leading me to think to quit the career is the teaching methods. I always think that is so bad the teaching methods that the students doesn’t want to ask anything because they are afraid of the reaction of some teachers. Is awful and sad that some teachers always shows themselves as gods that doesn’t make mistakes and punish their students mistakes…
